Social Tennis
Organised social tennis takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 16h00 and Saturday afternoons from 14h00. During this time no private games are permitted as the objective is to encourage members to meet and play with other members of the club. Balls are provided and the bar is open during this time. Visitors are welcome (R80)
Social Mid-Week Players have access to the courts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings between 08H00 to 12H00.
The courts are generally used as follows:
- Ladies – Tuesday and Thursdays between 08H00 to 13H00.
- The Men’s Veterans section (for over 50) play on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 13h00 until 16h30

Matches are played Thursday Mornings from September through to early November and also from late February to early April

Cape Town Tennis league
(Singles / Doubles / Mixed as well as Vets)
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons generally from Late August through to mid November and also from late February to early April.

General
Members or visitors who play during the arranged social times are expected to fit in with the group arrangements at the time. Private social play can be arranged at other times depending on the availability of courts. Members and visitors must provide their own balls when organising private games.
Junior & Student members are welcome to join in with general social play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Bookings can also be made outside of these times.
League Tennis normally takes place from February to April and August to November. During this time the courts are reserved for league practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16h00 and for league matches on Saturday afternoons from 13h00. Social play continues as normal but allowances are made to make sure the league players get enough practice in.
