Social, Braai & Bargains at the Fish Hoek Tennis Club

-

On Thursday, February 27, the Fish Hoek Tennis Club came alive with the perfect mix of community spirit, tennis, and treasure hunting at our Social, Braai & Bargains afternoon.

Starting at 4pm, Court A was transformed into a lively little market, with around five vendors setting up stalls filled with secondhand gems, and there were great deals to be found!

Right alongside the market, the braai was going strong. People gathered near Court A to braai, eat, and enjoy some well-earned sundowners as the sunny (and slightly hot!) day turned into a beautiful evening. Thankfully, there was hardly any wind.

Kids were very much part of the fun, too. Some grabbed a racket and tried their hand at tennis, while others got creative – turning the secondhand finds into an impromptu fashion show that had everyone smiling.

After sunset, the courts were still buzzing, with players headed back out for some exciting doubles matches while others stayed courtside to watch, chatting and enjoying the friendly vibes into the evening.

A big thank you to everyone who came along, supported the vendors, brought the vibe, and helped make it such a fun FHTC event. We can’t wait to do it again!
