What a truly special afternoon it was at our recent Music on the Kom event, graciously hosted by Willie and Debbie van Schoor.
With the sun shining and the perfect position for shelter from the wind, the weather could not have been more perfect. Guests relaxed with drinks in hand, chatting under the clear skies, and enjoying their picnic goodies.
The live music was the evening’s highlight. The band kept the energy just right, creating a laid-back atmosphere as everyone ate before building to a level that had everyone tapping their feet (and eventually heading to the dance floor lawn!).
One of the most heartwarming sights of the event was the younger crowd. The kids made full use of the open garden space: running, tumbling, chasing, and, of course, dancing with carefree enthusiasm. Their energy was infectious and added an extra layer of joy to the occasion.
A big thank you to Debbie and Willie for opening their home to us, and to everyone who helped make the event such a success. These are the moments that show why the Fish Hoek Tennis Club is such a special community.
