The 2026 Fish Hoek Tennis Club Championship brought together a fantastic cross-section of the club for several weeks of competitive, spirited tennis in Fish Hoek, Cape Town. The tournament began on April 18, 2026, with the semifinals held on May 16 and the finals played on May 17.
This year’s championship was a major undertaking, with over 100 players involved across singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and veteran categories. With around 200 matches to arrange, log, and reschedule, the event required tremendous behind-the-scenes coordination, so a huge THANK YOU goes to Gerald Fourie and Mila Fourie, who did a stellar job organizing the tournament from start to finish. Their efforts were made even more impressive by the rainy weather throughout the tournament, which forced repeated schedule adjustments.

Despite those challenges, the championship was a success and provided a memorable few weeks of club tennis for participants and supporters. Congratulations to all players who took part, and especially to the winners and finalists in each category!
