Hi, FHTC league players! The first league Saturday is set for September 5th, 2026.
To get everyone ready, we’re having a League Warm-Up Day on Sunday, August 23rd. The agenda is roughly:
- 2pm start with a quick intro to league format & etiquette
- Break out into doubles, playing sets in league match format (First to 6 games – with a margin of 2 – wins. If it gets to 6-all in games, play a 7-point tiebreak.)
- Stick around afterward for sundowners and a braai (families welcome)!
We hope as many as possible can make it (even if you’re only down for reserves this league season), as this is a chance for new players to get a feel for league play and for all players to practice with their FHTC teammates. See you guys there!
Note: While the braai is open to all, the tennis-playing portion of this event is for players enrolled in league only. However, if you’re interested in playing for FHTC in league, we encourage you to let the Ladies Captain, Jessie Jenkins, know.
